Enjoy the 4000+ extraordinary handcrafted beanies, on exhibition and for sale, along with great food, free workshops, demonstrations of traditional indigenous spinning techniques, competitions and the chance to join in the hilarious 'Beanie Olympics'
- Opportunity to participate in 2 hour textile workshops, including 'Make a Dilly Bag,' silk fusion, scrumbling, weaving, spinning, learn to crochet, advanced knitting, basketry, felting, etc

Fun and fibre loving volunteers travel from all over Australia to the four-day 'Alice Springs Beanie Festival' and 'Colours of the Country Beanie Exhibition' where the amazing creations of hundreds of textile artists, from around Australia and abroad, are exhibited and available for sale. The money raised is used to fund inspiring Art and Craft programs on remote indigenous communities.
